Property Information Officer

Whangarei, New Zealand

Join our growing team! We're expanding and looking for a detail‑oriented, analytical team member who enjoys researching information and interpreting plans.

About the Role

As a Property Information Officer, you will be responsible for preparing:

  • Residential and Commercial Land Information Memoranda (LIMs)
  • Potentially Contaminated Site (PCS) reports

Day-to-day you can expect to do the following:

  • Search and analyse Council records
  • Research the District Plan and mapping layers with a focus on natural hazards
  • Collate documents into clear, accurate, and well‑structured reports
  • Adhere to statutory timeframes

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on investigative work and enjoys turning complex information into well‑organised reports.

Having a keen interest in property is beneficial as your reports will help customers make important decisions related to potential purchases.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Strong analytical, research and investigative skills
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Confidence interpreting building and district plans
  • A methodical, detail‑focused approach
  • The ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively

We welcome applicants with direct experience in LIM or property information work, as well as those with transferable skills who are keen to learn and dive into the detail.
