Marketing and Ticketing Administrator (12 Month Fixed Term)
The Opportunity
Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for marketing and exceptional organizational skills? Our Venue & Events team are a hard-working, friendly, and supportive team who take genuine pride in attracting, supporting, and delivering memorable events on behalf of WDC, for the benefit of our community. Due to an internal secondment opportunity - we are now on the lookout for a passionate and driven all-rounder to step into this key support role on a fixed term basis. On a day-to-day basis you will handle a mix of operational and marketing responsibilities, playing a vital role in our daily operations and client experience.
This role will be based at Forum North in Central Whāngarei which houses the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre, the Kotahitanga Exhibition Hall, and Cafler Suite conference rooms.
Primary duties will include:
- Co-ordinating radio and print campaigns for events
- Distribution of marketing material for the venue
- Managing promotional collateral for events
- Managing Forum north ticket kiosk operations
- Invoicing and reconciliations for events and venue
- Customer support for ticket sales and queries
Our successful candidate will bring:
- 2-3 years in a marketing role with an administrative focus
- Familiarity with CMS and CRM tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across relevant social media platforms
- Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
- Excellent time management - managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset to work well with different teams and stakeholders
Please note some flexibility in daily working hours will be required due to the nature of the industry.
