Manager - Waters Projects & Administration

To support us in this mahi we are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for water infrastructure to lead our Waters Projects and Administration Department.
As the successful applicant you will lead a team of specialist project managers and administrators dedicated to Three Waters infrastructure, including water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Your key responsibilities will involve technical expertise and oversight, efficient resource management, and active stakeholder communication to ensure project success. Additionally, you will track and report on project milestones, oversee departmental budgets, and ensure all projects follow and comply with the required processes and standards.
If you're keen to be considered for this opportunity, we're eager to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering or similar.
- 10 years relevant experience in waters infrastructure.
- Strong project management experience with demonstrated ability to apply Project Management Principles.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and consultants.
- Experience with working with multi discipline teams.
- Experience running project teams of similar size and complexity.
- Strong leadership skills that can empower and motivate others to effectively deliver results.
