Vehicle Crossings Technician

To support us in our mahi we are looking for a Vehicle Crossings Technician who will provide technical inspection services for new infrastructure, ensuring that all vehicle crossings comply with regulatory engineering standards and environmental guidelines. The successful candidate will also conduct thorough site inspections and assessments for vehicle crossing applications, liaising with applicants, professional advisors, updating as-builts in RAMM, uploading RAMM data and internal staff on engineering matters.

Working from our centrally located, state of the art, civic facility and out across our beautiful district our ideal candidate will have experience in a regulatory environment where inspections and compliance formed a key part of the role.

If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role and are eager for us to consider your application you will need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to work methodically and efficiently and to set and meet appropriate standards and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate technical information with a varied and broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with others through development of strong working relationships and provision of clear well thought out advice.
  • A practical understanding of Engineering Standards and Environmental Guidelines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make sound, well considered decisions in a timely manner.
