Team Leader - Major Event Planning and Administration

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, friendly, superstar planner who is driven to deliver events that delight and engage our community! If you are a list maker, note taker, I-dotter and T crosser, do read on!

As our Team Leader - Major Events (Planning and Administration), you will be excited by the challenge of providing overarching management of our major event's portfolio, ensuring that various project plans merge seamlessly to avoid pressure points with resources and staffing. Your role will be well supported by a hardworking and closely knit team who take real pride in delivering a professional service to our community!

This role will be well suited to a strong collaborator who enjoys variety, a quick paced environment, and the challenge of working various channels through to big picture delivery.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Level 4 Certificate in relevant financial administration, or relevant experience.
  • Leadership experience
  • Significant experience in the events industry
  • Project management qualification and/or comparable experience

Alongside previous experience in:

  • Systems improvements
  • Mentoring and coaching direct reports
  • Operational support
  • Co-ordinating presentation of event bids
