Asset Engineer - Three Waters

As our district continues to grow, we have responded with an exciting strategy and policy programme which covers a wide variety of issues from city centre regeneration, climate change and managing growth. To support us in the successful delivery of our strategy and policy work, we are looking for skilled and qualified people who are eager to help to shape the Whangarei District and its communities.

Are you a passionate engineer who is able to think strategically about community infrastructure and managing the challenges that the future may bring?

Do you have experience in some or all of the following:

  • Asset management with a focus on drinking water supply
  • Development of activity management plans
  • Water treatment and/or pipeline network assets
  • Asset Management systems
  • Strategic planning and growth
  • Network modelling
  • Capital and operational programme development
  • Project management
  • Local government processes
  • Community engagement

Are you Bachelor of Engineering Civil/Environmental (or equivalent) qualified with asset management or drinking water supply experience? Are you keen to work with a team of enthusiastic professionals involved in improving service delivery in Whangarei?
