Along with this, your commitment to make a positive difference, pragmatism and political astuteness will see you succeed in this role. There will be times when hard decisions and difficult conversations need to take place, and we're looking for someone who can approach these with tact and diplomacy. Your background is likely to include transportation engineering and project management and you'll be known for creating a positive team environment. Ideally you'll be working in the roading/construction industry and have some experience/knowledge of NZ's roading regulations.
