Solid Waste Engineer
Are you a passionate engineer, capable budget manager, and able to think strategically about community infrastructure and managing the challenges that the future may bring?
This role requires someone that looks at the big picture, and has the confidence, composure and ability to articulate and present ideas in front of some challenging audiences. You will need to possess good business acumen as well as be politically aware. You will have good relationship building skills which will enable you to liaise with our stakeholders, one of which is a joint venture partner. Ideally you will have experience in the following:
- The solid waste industry
- Asset management
- Contract management
- Budget control and administration
- Project management
- Local government processes
- NZ resource consent compliance
- Helping customers
